Loyalty

This is a particulate point with me. Loyalty the act of being loyal I like to think of myself as being a loyal person but what is loyalty. For me being loyal is a mixture of working towards the greater good of the person you are loyal to and being available to the person when needed.

I admit that it is a bit of a "interesting" differentiation but in the name of loyalty I have betrayed person against their wishes, I have gone against most of group of friends, held blades to peoples throats and threaten them with harm and this was about a person who I was and am loyal to.

Now loyalty for me at least is freely given but you go against someone I am loyal to once, harm some one else I am loyal to, or prove your self not worthy of my loyalty then you will lose my loyalty. And getting it back is a difficult possess. Go against me and the devil take your soul first for I will (thanks to Dragon for that one)

Now I expect loyalty from the people I give it to and more or less I get it and if i give you my loyalty and you don't give me yours then more fool me I suppose.
